Management model and principles

A standardized management model enables a common understanding of targets, values and leadership within a company. It is developed as a continuous process, thereby boosting cooperation, management quality and thus corporate success.

In specific and action-oriented terms, a management model specifies how managers should conduct themselves and what employees can expect of them.

In dialog with you and your management team, we develop a specific management model which accounts for the underlying aspects and the general mission statement of your company, and also provide strategic support to “breathe life” into the corporate conduct it specifies. Our basic approach to training focuses on developing the personality of every single participant.

Management workshop

There are three factors which are crucial to the future viability of a company: an ability to grow and change, employee motivation and management quality.

This is why the targeted development of managerial skills on the basis of clearly defined values is of particular importance. Managers are often faced with difficult personnel-related, organizational and ethical issues.

With their hectic routines, there often isn’t time to reflect on these challenges, or they lack a credible approach to dealing with them. Problems and issues drag on or are never fully resolved.

The management workshop gives you the opportunity to meet with four to six other same-level managers and jointly work through specific case studies from your routine work with one of our coaches. In an easy-going environment, participants can also give each other feedback to help improve their leadership skills and the quality of their value-centric management. The diversity of ideas and the dynamic process within the group enlarge your spectrum of approaches to solving problems.

Coaching

Coaching involves giving personal advice to clarify issues in work contexts. We offer coaching for situations in which you have a specific managerial task, a new professional role or if you want to follow a new career path.

The aim of our consulting service is to analyze your professional circumstances, set your ideas of how to organize your work against the expectations of the company (line manager, colleagues, direct reports) and work through any resulting conflicts with you to ensure that your actions are more efficient and successful in the future.

The discussions primarily focus on the question of how to deploy your strengths and resources and raise awareness of your conduct, behavioral patterns and attitudes. This opens the door to new perspectives and solutions.

360-degree manager feedback

360-degree feedback appraises the conduct of managers from many different perspectives. It provides a full and clear understanding of your personal strengths, while also highlighting core skills which have room for improvement. The key to its success is the systematic involvement of your line manager’s, colleagues’ and direct reports’ own perceptions.

Feedback from line managers is complemented by feedback from direct reports and colleagues, as managers are rarely party to clear, logical and specific statements on their leadership styles. You receive an overview clearly setting out the differences between your own perception and the perceptions of others.

360-degree feedback draws your attention to any precisely specifiable need for action. It is an instrument which offers support targeted at corporate development and is embedded in organizational development. 360-degree feedback can play an essential role within complex change processes.
